<p>I maintained a healthy weight most of my life. I became obese 12 years after I had my 3 children, during that time I dieted, joined several gyms, joined Weight Watchers,Physician weight loss (B-12 injections & prescription diet pills), with very little success. I decided to attend a weight loss surgery seminar, where I was able to ask questions about Lap-band surgery.</p>
<p>Approx. 8 months later I had the surgery. </p>

<p>My Lap-band surgery was a success, 3 years post-op I am still loosing and I feel great!</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The key to loosing/ maintaining weight years after surgery is making good food choices and a healthy lifestyle, the "band" is only an aide~it tells me when I am full. I eat mostly lean protein and vegetables/fresh fruit.</p>

<p>I am so grateful to have my Lap-band and my new lease on life!</p>
