  1. Hi everyone, my name is Sharon and I am from Virginia but live in North Carolina. I am happily married and have one step-daughter, she is more like my "daughter", than a "step-daughter" I am employed full time. I have not had the lap-band surgery done, but I am very interested in doing so. I am here to find out what the pros and cons are of getting this done from people that have had it done. I can't seem to lose weight, I have high blood pressure and I am on medication. If I can lose my weight I may be able to get off my meds. I may even be able to get pregnant.......I can hope. If there is anything else that you would like to know.....just ask.
