  1. Thank you for replying to my thread. I know how difficult insurance can be. I have wanted and tried to have a procedure for quite a while but my insurance did not offer the coverage until this year. I hope to jump through the hoops they are laying in front of me and get this done by August. It will take some time but I hope it will be well worth it. I am planning on using Emory Johns Creek and Dr. Christopher Hart. Have you ever heard of him? I have been researching the surgeons that are available to me. He seems to be very competent. Anyway, very nice to meet you and good luck with your insurance. It can be a real pain in the butt!! Keep me posted!
  2. Hello everyone! I am new to this whole LAP-BAND® thing. I recently started the process with my insurance company to have the lap bad procedure. I am so excited. I must complete some obstacles before I can have the procedure, but I am committed to moving forward. I am in Georgia and am also looking for a great surgeon at EmoryJohnsCreek, so if any of you know a good one I will gladly take all your recommendations. I hope to make new friends that will help me on my journey to become a healthier person.
