  2. My weekend was pretty good, I went drunk bowling w/some friends on saturday.... i didn't mean to get drunk its just since the band, my tolerance has went to crap lol. Sunday, I got my taxes done and cleaned the house. This daylight savings time kinda through off my morning. Oh love your new pics!

  3. Wow that's good! So I weighed myself this morning and I'm back down to 226.4 So that brings me back to my 21lbs loss. Let's see If I can actually keep it off now. As for your little cheat, refried beans were your protein, the quacamole was your veggie/fruit (avacados are fruits right lol) and sour cream is dairy...so as I see it you were staying within the four food groups he he... (thats how you justify it lol). Ikow that I shouldn't be rushing this but I want to be at my sweet spot now. I hate that I'm able to eat more now. I'm so impatient. lol. Did you have a good weekend?

  5. Thank you so much Debbie! Did you do anything extra to drop your 5 lbs? I understand this is a time for healing but I guess I'm too stuck on the fact that I want this weight gone and out of my life. I wasn't always heavy, the weight came on when I was married to my ex. I should've listened to my mom. He was very abusive and I started at 140 with him and within a year I was up to 240. My heighest weight was almost 260. I yo yoed back and forth between 215-240 for the last couple years and its just upsetting that I let myself get this way. I don't have any kids I just feel my body shouldn't look the way it does. My DH says the same thing that you say that I shouldn't be too hard on myself but I'm army brat, the daughter of a Command Sergeant Major who served 30 years in the Army, and I my dad always made me strive for perfection. I guess that I'm applying that mentality to my weightloss. Thank you so much for being there for me in my time of need. *Hugs*

  6. OMG i can't believe that have you on liquids for so long. I actually get to start some solids next week. I've lost about 3 more lbs but now i'm just stabilizing i think its with introducing more foods. I cant wait to really start working out, i know that will help more with my weight loss. I'm glad you get to eat real food in a couple days!

I do have a gym in my apts too but I'll be honest when I get home from work all I want to do is be in my house, thats why I want to invest in an elliptical, that way I can still be in my house and not have an excuse of not working out lol. It would be even better if I had a gym buddy. The only friend I have here is a nurse too so our schedules never coincide for us to work out together and she is a gym freak. She gave me a cute jean one peice of hers. Its a size medium for when I lose my weight. And trust me I look at it every single day! Why is your appointment so late?

  8. Well my doc said no treadmill, ellipticals, etc. until after our first fill. All we could do is walk. I think that I'm going to go try the elliptical anyway. I don't want to go backwards, especially after getting this surgery. Thanks for your words of inspiration, honestly it really made my day! I told my DH that I want to buy an elliptical after we get out taxes back so that I won't have an excuse when I'm able to work out. As for my scars, they itch like crazy lol I feel like I got another tattoo lol but overall they're healing really nice. I think the only noticable one will be the port scar. I can't wait to get my first fill! Have you already scheduled yours? Mine is on 3/16.

  11. Hey Debbie, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've been a little depressed myself lately. I gained 4 lbs back this week. I'll be honest, I ate something I shouldn't have but I only ate a little and I really don't think it should've caused me to gain back 4lbs :(. I told my DH that after we get our taxes back I want an elliptical. Its just so hard to get to the gym after work b/c all I want to do is sit at home but I figure if I get the elliptical, after work when I just want to be lazy and watch TV and can be using it while I watch TV. I hope you're doing good.

  12. The cake went down fine actually a little too fine, but I only ate a little slice. When do you go back to work?

  13. actually a little depressed i gained back 4 lbs :( i don't know what to do b/c i've been eating right (except for a small peice of cake) but that was it! That shouldn't have caused me to gain 4 lbs. I guess I just have to wait til i go to my appt on the 16th. I'm glad that you were able to eat fine today. That soup never tasted as good as it did today huh? its amazing the things you miss when you can't have it.

  14. basically i was on the atkins diet.. no soda, no pasta, rice, bread or fruit. Low carb/fat high protein hope that helps!

  16. yep no problem except make sure u eat really slow!!! trust me we may not have that much restricition yet but you will feel it if you eat to fast.. kinda like you wanna burp and throw up and the same time but its just stuck. i'm sure if you tried a little mushy food it wouldn't hurt too bad.

  17. I was only on liquids for a week. I'm sorry to hear your on liquids for long. It will get better and just think how much weight your losing right now!

  24. I'm doing good....feeling a lot better now no more pain really unless I ove the wrong way. How about you? How's your post-op going?

  25. I'm doing good how about you? Hows your healing? Are you still in pain? I've been relaxing this whole weekend. I noticed I'm sleeping a lot better and I'm taking advantage of it :)
