Thats so weird right before I got my fill I gained back 4 lbs too! The fill will help trust me. I hit a little plateau too, I'm ranging between 217-219 right now. We finally got our taxes today so hopefully by the end of the week I can get my elliptical. You look great though in your new pic you posted!!

Hey my twin!! I'm so sorry to hear that you've stalled in your weightloss, that first fill will get you off that plateau. I don't understand why everyone elses doc's are making ya'll wait so long. Thats way too long to be in bandster hell. I wish you luck though and keep in touch. *Hugs*

Yes if I eat too fast!! I mean I dont' feel the restriction of only being able to eat 4oz of food, i can definitely eat a little more but am staying fuller a little longer now. You should to the shrinko de mayo challenge with me!

Hey Debbie! Congrats on your weightloss!! You're doing amazing! So I read on one of your posts how you said your fill "was a piece of cake"....did they numb you or am I just that big of a baby?? Mine hurt pretty bad. Kinda felt like a bee sting. Also I was thinking about making a spreadsheet for all the feb. bandsters so we can track all of our weightloss, what do you think?

Omg it hurt so bad!! lol that needle was huge!! i feel a little restriction but i'm still able to eat way more than they said i would. they said about 4 oz... i'm eating at least 6-8oz per serving... how have u been? and thank you!!

Lol well... it hurt first off. They use a needle thats about 4 inches long and as thick as a piercing needle like a 14 gauge. Well after they stick you, you can watch on the x-ray machine the liquid going in. They make you drink that nasty barium to make sure everything goes down ok. I got 3.5 cc's in my band. Now when they took the needle out i swear that hurt more going in. I hope for you they numb the area b/c yea i'm a baby when it comes to that stuff but really that was no prick, it was more like a bee sting! I do feel the restriction a little but not as much as i thought i would. They said that i should be eating 4 oz of food total each meal, but i'm still eating more than that like 6-8 oz. I hope I didn't scare you! I'm sure you will do better than me!!

Well the fill hurt. They lied lol! They put 3.5 ccs in. I don't feel a difference yet I guess because I'm on liquids and I start pureed food today. Maybe when I get to more solid food I'll feel something. I know what you mean by being busy. I still haven't been able to hit the gym.

I waited until about the middle of the my third week, so basically last week. I'm glad that everything is going down fine for you. I still have to learn to eat slow.

Well I've lost a total of 21lbs, well it fluctuates between 17-21 lbs. I've been like that for the last two weeks. I go for my first fill on monday. I can't wait. And after we get our taxes back my DH is buying me an elliptical. How are the fills? Do they hurt?

Personally, I think you will be fine, as long as you feel fine and you're not over eating. When do you go for your post-op appt or did you already have it?
