  1. Hello. I am in need of a mentor. Just found out my surgery date is April 6th. Would someone be my mentor to see me through? - I couldn't sleep last night, I'm too excited!
  2. Just joined in today, 12/27. I have just begun my journey I have had all pre-testing procedures done, including psychologist and nutritionist evaluations. Just waiting for insurance approval. However, the endoscopy showed that I have a duodenal ulcer and gastritis. My GI doctor said that should not cause any problem with going ahead with my lapband surgery - I hope that is the case. I have Blue Shield PPO and they have assured me that they do cover at 100% for my co-morbidity reasons. I would love to hear from those of you who have just had their banding and from those of you who have had their banding a while ago. I would like to get feedback on all aspects - please don't be shy - I would like you to be completely honest with me. Happy Holidays to you all and thank you.:hurray:
