Probably Overfilled, and Afraid to Let Some Out
I had the same thing happen to me. I really though I wanted to lose weight at 3ccs. I couldn't hold down much solids and was surviving on protein shakes and soft foods. I was starting to feel like I really missed protein so I had .5 taken out yesterday. Since then I was able to consume 7 oz of solid protein yesterday. I slept much better and feel so much better today. My suggestion is to get back on solids and count calories, 800-1k a day. Good luck.

I write mine off completely. You can get a statement from your doctor.

Nutritionally imbalanced? Be honest
Wombat, I hear you. I too love Mexican food. The cheese enchiladas go down so nice! Yesterday was the first day in like 6 months that I actually ate solid protein all day. I had an unfill yesterday which really helped. I feel much better this a.m. and slept really well too.

post op hungries
My doctor allowed me anything that fit through a straw. That being said I had protein shakes as well as creamy soups. Good luck. It will get better once you hit mushies and solids.

I am down 65 lbs and I went from a C cup to a B cup . I am hoping I don't go down any further. I have 40 more lbs to lose.

Bad Christmas Eve today - total PBs.
Just an update. I went in for an unfill today to 2.5 from 3.0. The decision was based on me not being able to handle too many solids. I feel better as I was able to consume approx. 2-3oz of chicken at lunch. We'll see how I do. Julie

Nutritionally imbalanced? Be honest
I had to be real honest with myself the last 24 hours. I am not eating enough solid protein, I drink too much alcohol and I sustain on protein drinks and soft foods. I am 40 lbs from goal. So today, I went into my doctor and had .5 taken out so I could eat solid protein again. Also, I am joining Weight Watchers on Saturday to see if they can help me with my nutrition. Anyone else struggle out there? Tell me your story.

Grace, that is wonderful! Great job!

How much protein do we really need?
I heard that 60 grams is good but if you get a minimum of 40 that is okay. Not sure how accurate that is.
-
Is it bad not to want a first fill?
If you are losing and happy with the results there is not reason for a fill. Good job!

Weight Watchers - any success?
Thanks everyone! I am joining this Saturday with my sister. I have 40 lbs to goal. My doctor wants me to get to 185 which is still considered overweight at 5'8". 160-165 is normal weight but it is really hard for me to maintaine that weight. I will have him write me a doctor's note when I reach 185 so I can become lifetime. Thanks for the tip!

Weight Watchers - any success?
I have been struggling with my band for 6 months. I can't eat a lot of solids so I was considering a slight unfill and joining Weight Watchers to lose the last 40 lbs. Has anyone had any success with WW? Also, for a bandster do you feel like it is too much food?
