  1. It is not good to PB only on liquids. If you were to take in soft foods and do okay then its up to you to stay at that rate. Given the fact that you PB on liquids I think it would command a slight unfill. Be careful not to have a slip.
  2. There are only 2 solutions to reflux. First is an unfill (which is more likely) and the second is medication Zantac or Prilosec. I had to have an slight unfill .3 ccs.
  3. My plastic surgeon said it was time! I am going in for an extended tummy tuck and thigh lift on 4/21.
  4. Confusing I bet. If the package says 4.5 oz then I would measure it as uncooked. Other than that, all protein on fitday for example is measured cooked. Hope that helps.
  5. If you can't find one on google, you may want to go to Board Certified Plastic Surgeons. At least that way you know they are certified.
  6. At your preop does the doctor measure you or something for the compession garmets with a tummy tuck? I don't want the hassle of trying to find one. Thanks.
  7. Heartburn is definitely one of them. I often have to take Zantac if I want to eat something that is spicy. I use to have reflux until I got a slight unfill. I would say PB/vomitting is the worse side affect that I have. I do that a couple times a week.
  8. I've lost a 2 month old horse! It will be a lot more after my tummy tuck!

Lauren, congrats on thew new job. Best of luck.
  10. I did really well on WW the last 2 weeks. I lost 4.5 lbs. The important thing for me was to eat 20 points per day which is 1k calories. That plus the bonus points it comes out to 1250 calories a day. Protein acutally isn't that many points. 1 point per lean ounce. That is nothing. If you want high protein you may want to do the Core System. With Core you can still have a bake potatoe and brown rice I believe, even whole wheat pasta. Good luck. WW works.
  11. Tracy, thanks for the post! I am getting really excited. I've been going to the tanning salon ready for that size 14 bikini if there is a thing! Julie
  12. I feel more selfish that I don't feel selfish! I totally cannot wait until my TT on the 21st of April. My pannus will be gone and my stomach will be flat. It is truly something to look forward to. Congrats.
  13. 1.) Who's you're insurance company? United Healthcare 2.) What state do you live in? CA 3.) Was your plan provided by your employer or do you pay for it out of your own pocket? Employer 4.) Are you banded yet, waiting for approval, denied...etc? Banded and covered by insurance.
  14. Frank, what an inspiration. Thank you for the share. Best of luck.
  15. I remember the first time I rode on an airplane and didn't need a seat belt extender. I remember feeling the same way. Great NSV.
  16. My DH is very supportive. I have 30 more lbs to lose to hit my goal weight. He doesn't bug me the least. What would happen if you never lost the remaining weight? It is very typical to lose 60% then stop. Good luck.
  17. I am 5'8 inches tall. My surgeon and I set my weight goal at 185. That puts me in a size 14 most likely tight. I am now 213 and I am in a size 16 and quite pleased. I really do believe that weight comes down to individual preference. While I am still considered overweight at 185 I am totally stoked at the notion that I use to weight 320 and 185 is a nice size for me. So basically it comes down to comfort. If Grace isn't happy in a size 4 then she should definitley gain a few lbs, even if it may make her overweight on the BMI chart. Love the body you are in. That is what I have learned as a Bandster. Julie
  18. Hi Jenny, yes. this happened to me as well. There is a solution they can put in that helps weapy tubing. Its called omnipique or something similar. Its like fixing a flat tire. Ask them about it at your next fill. It worked for me very well.
  19. Thanks everyone! Today I went to the bank to get the money for my surgery. It is due at my preop on Monday. I am very excited, I really hope it turns out okay. He did say that I was ready but I am a bit nervous since I am still 30 lbs from goal. He said it would not make that big of a difference. Wish me luck!
  20. Hi Tracy, my insurance will not cover anything. It is $20k out of pocket for my extended tummy tuck with lipo and my thigh lift with lipo. Julie
  21. My tummy tuck and thigh lift is scheduled for 4/21. Anyone else in April and/or May time frame?
  22. Personally speaking I would work with the anaseathilogiest instead of the insurance company. You know how funny insurance companies can be. Good luck getting your refund!
  23. Hi Cheryl, Congrats on getting your TT. I am scheduled for 4/21 as well. Julie
  24. Let the journey begin. I met with the best Board Certified PS today. I can't believe he came in $4k less for a BA and lift. He also teaches at Stanford. I have some great news about the thigh lift. He said he will not have to cut me from the top of the thigh to my knee. Rather he can cut at the top of the thigh across and lift me that way. I was quite surprised. I hope they turn out okay doing it that way! So here I go for an Extended Tummy Tuck and thigh lift on 4/21. I am taking 2 weeks off of work. Wish me luck.
  25. How soon after a TT can you swim or take a bath? I want to have mine in late April and in June we are going to Hawaii.
