I would love to join your group. I get banded on "Fat Tuesday" February 24th. Funny, right! I have lost 10 lbs. on pre-op diet. I am really ready since I have been dealing this since July 10. BCBS requested that I spend 6 months "to prove to them that I can lose weight." So I jumped that hoop and just waiting to go through those double doors. I am even going to wear my mardi gras beads. I hope that you can post some meals on your website as I panic if I don't plan ahead. Hope to support everyone as you support me! :tt2:

I see Dr. Nancy Marquez. I will be banded on "Fat Tuesday" February 24th. I really love Dr. Marquez and everyone in the office. I am very confident that she will be a motivator as well as Jerry, the nutritionist. He never minds any of my calls which reassures me that I am in good hands. I am most anxious to begin as I have been working on this roller coasters since July 10th. I now see the end of tunnel but the beginning on getting to the other side! I have really learned many useful ideas that I will definitely how me with my journey. I have lost 12 pre-op pounds and still have 4 days of Atkins and 1 day of just liquids the day before. I'm ready and ask for your thoughts and prayers as I pray for you.

Check this out! Will be banded on "Fat Tuesday" February 24! A new beginning for me and the beginning of Lent! I am so ready. I attended the seminar July 10th, approved December 30th and almost there. I am so grateful for all your information. I will check back after I am banded with questions, I'm sure. This morning was my last nutritionist appointment....so all the paperwork is in to my advocate. She will be sending all to the insurance company for final approval. Then soon I should be getting my surgery date. I am excited and anxious at the same time. I will post my date as soon as I know it! I am thinking good thoughts for all the December people and wish them the best.

Hello, this is my first time at posting! So bare with me if I don't do it correctly....I am hoping to have my surgery done in January. I have one more appt. with the nutritionist on Thursday...everything else has been done. Then all the paperwork with be sent to my insurance co. BCBS and then I will wait for my final approval. Once I have my date, I will let ya'll know....and we can all be bandsters together in 2009!
