  1. Loriss, Hang in there! It get's easier. I had my surgery on Dec 11th and am in the post-op liquid diet stage now. The first day of liquid was the hardest. I was STARVING around 1:30 - 2:00. I kept pushing the liquids, popsicles & jello. The next couple of days were better. I peed myself to death !!! This was a reeassurance that I was cleaning out my system. On the 3rd day I had a bad headache and the runs. After that, the rest of the week was pretty easy. Now 3 days post-op, I haven't been hungry yet. Keep a log ...... that's the best way to stay in control. Hang in there .... it'll be worth it !! Cathy in VA
