    Hi, I'm a first time poster. I've been going through the approval process for almost a year and finally got my surgery date... It's in 3 weeks :thumbup: After waiting for a year, I never expected it to be so soon. I'm excited, but scared out of my mind and I'm not sure why. I don't know if I'm more scared of the procedure or the effects it will have on my life. I've been crying with worry for 3 days now. Is putting myself through this really worth it? I'm already so disappointed in myself for letting myself get to this weight. What if I get this surgery and it doesn't work? That will make me feel like an even bigger failure.
