    Cottege Cheese...IDEAS!

I put 1 cup of cottage cheese in a family size can of tomato soup and blend it on high for a few minutes. You can add a little basil to it also for a different (yummy) taste.

What are Papaya Pills and where can I get them?

When I was in GNC buying Isopure protein drinks, the clerk gave me a free sample of papaya enzyme chewable tablets to try, so I know they sell them at GNC.
  4. How soon after surgery did you remove the tape covering your puncture wounds? Four of my five have come off okay, but the largest one covering the Port is still on. Surgery was a week ago, and I don't know if I'm safe pulling the tape off or not.:eekB:

What does all this water actually do?

I've found it easy to drink Water and get your Protein in at the same time. I bought several bottles of Isopure 0 carb drinks before my surgery. I pour one 20 oz bottle into a 64 oz water bottle and then add an additional 20 oz of water to that. It tastes good and you get not only water, but protein as well. When all of that is gone, I fill the bottle up with plain water and drink that till it's gone. Good luck!

    home...uuugggghhhhhhh

Hope things are getting better for you - I'm still a little sore (banded on 4/25), but I've been walking 20 minutes everyday and sipping water like there's no tomorrow. My incisions usually only hurt when I try to get up ooooooh.

    April 2006 Bandits

I was banded this past Tuesday - April 25th in Provo, Utah by Dr. Robert McKeen. :clap2: I am doing well I guess - only clear liquids for a week, but it hasn't been too bad yet. The only incision that really hurts is the one for the port, but then it's the biggest one also. I have a friend who was banded just before Thanksgiving in 2005, and she has already lost over 40 pounds. I have chronic osteoarthritis - total hip replaced, two total knees, etc. so I really need to lose weight so I can put less stress on my joints and hopefully slow down the other surgeries needed to replace worn out joints. This is a new journey for me, but I'm happy I found this forum. I've actually been reading all your comments for a few months now, as I've been preparing for my surgery. Thanks for all the great advice. I felt I was very well prepared going into surgery. Now I just need to figure out how to get a ticker on the bottom of my post, and I'm all set. [/img]
