  1. Thanks, I think im more nervious about the whole deal than anything. I had gallbaldder surgury when i was 23 and it about killed me. I am not frail by any means but something didnt go right. Now I am at a time in my life where I want to do something about my weight, its affecting me sexually (with my gf) and mentally, as well as my friends who I used to do things with but cant do as much as I did before. My biggest fears are: Insurance- Tonik Blue Cross (PPO) (if they cover it and if they dont will they just drop me due to my weight) Actual surgury, I know kind of what to expect with pain, but I for some reason am always nervous about being under anyones knife (control freak) So far I have been reading on this site and others and I am very impressed with alot of the stories, but I am also worried about some of the other things im reading, like replacements, port pain and eating. Well back to reading more, I love forums because they are a wealth of real life information. - Corey
  2. Anyway just joined the site and also just got done getting my first steps done. Doc said he would start paperwork with insurance. Currently I weigh in at 301, I have been overweight my hole life (since around 6 years old). I have kept very active through school and after, I work hard, and do alot of outdoors stuff, but have never been able to loose weight. - Corey
