  1. Sun Life insurance in Canada.

    I have only recently purchased Sun Life insurance from the company I work for. I have purchased the comprehensive dental,vison, and medical. I do not know how to go about the process of applying for the lap band with Sun Life. Do I get my doctor to write a letter or do I request it from them..... I am new to the whole health insurance thing and I just need some advise to know what I need to do to apply. BTW this is my first post. My name is Mary and im from nova scotia Canada. I have been seriously looking into the lap band for the last 6 months. I know that the only way that I could afford it was if my insurance can pay a presentage of it. So anything you could tell me would be great. thanks!
