For those of you that know the story.:cool: I was approved a month ago :thumbup:n was scheduled for surgery on 11/10 :teeth_smile:but when the time came they noticed I was approved for Gastric By-pass :thumbs_down:n not Lap band:thumbs_up: so my paper work was resubmitted about a week n a half ago n still no re-approval:sad_smile:. I went from going almost there:smile: to not knowing when:cry_smile:. My surgeon's nurse said more than likely we are looking at the 2nd week of January:unsure: (which is right after my 27th B-day:thumbup:) I guess New Year n New life in 2009:confused:. God I just want to hear that I am approved again:bored: n I will feel alot better. After that I could wait till Jan without a problem. At least I will be able to enjoy the holidays comfortably:blush:.

I just spoke to my friend who got her surgery last monday n claims she was back to work by Thursday. Is it really that easy. I mean she does have a sit down job but is this to much?:cool:

I know it sounds silly but I am really concerned about the pain that I will feel after surgery. I usually dont do well with pain n I am scared of the pain. I had a c-section about 6 yrs ago n it wasnt so bad, I mean it hurt but by the 5th day I was good to go. I know again it sounds silly but want to hear the peoples thought...:cool:

They havent told me how many days, they just told me to wait. I thought the nurse would be more sensative since she had to go thru the same but I guess not

I was approved for my surgery about a month ago. My surgery date was scheduled to Nov 9,2008 but the doctor hadnt finalized all the paperwork with the new hospital he would be working out of; so they rescheduled to the 25th which wasnt so bad even if I was upset about it. :tongue2: But yesterday they called me to reconfirm everything when they noticed that my insurance had coded me ok for gastric by-pass not lapband. :cool: i couldnt beleive they made that mistake!:tt1: I was beyond upset but I couldnt do anything except now wait until all the paperwork is approved again with the right coding. I just cant beleive this but again this would only happen to me:crying: I need moral support. I have no idea when they will re-approve or if they even will. I cant believe I am going thru this waiting process again:cry_smile:

I am so happy for u. I was beyond myself when I got approved a month ago and when setting up my appointment for surgery, they realized that they approved me under the wrong code so please verify that all codes are correct so you wont have to wait more than needed. But again supper great we are both on the road to success:thumbup:
