  1. Congratulations. Keep up the good work. I was just banded in November 2008 and have a long way to go. It is great to hear about peoples weight loss.
  2. Hi - My brother showed up from nowhere and I wont be able to meet on Sunday. Looking forward to meeting you some other time. Lori
  3. Sorry to hear about your troubles. I was banded on Nov 7th. On Nov 23 I started having severe pain. Called the lapband surgeon. They told me to go to the hospital. Turns out it was stones in the gallbladder. I had surgery the next day. A general surgeon removed the gall bladder. They didn't do the surgery until about 6 p.m. I stayed the night in the hospital. Recovery has been a lot slower than the lap band. I stayed home from work for six days. I am sure it will all work out. Wishing you the best.
  4. Hi - My name is Lori and I live in Henderson. I am 52 years old. I just moved here from Maryland about a year ago. I was banded November 7, 2008. I would love to come to your meeting next Sunday at Yard House. See you there. Lori
  5. Hi - I would like to be added to the spreadsheet. Thanks for putting this spreadsheet together. Sugery date 11/7/2008 Highest weight 322 Prrop weight 322 Surgery weight 322 current weight 308 goal weight 180:smile:
  6. I had surgery on Friday and went to work on Monday. I have an office job. I worked a full week. I was definitely tired by the time I got home but was able to get thru. I am in my fifties so I dont have the energy of some of the younger people. I took it easy and didn't move much. My doctor told someone it was possible to go to work the next day if they felt up to it.
  7. I would be interested in a West Coast conference. I will keep watching. Best luck with the conference.
  8. I had my surgery on FRiday, Nov. 7th. I went back to work on Monday. I still get tired but I am a lot older than you. I have been drinking protein shakes, broth and vegetable juice. There has been some nausea. Overall it hasn't been too bad. I wish you the best of luck.
  9. I had lapband surgery on Friday Nov 7th also. It was in Las Vegas. It was done as an outpatient. Surgery was at 11:30. I was home by 3. Took pain medicine and slept mostly the first day. I have been have nausea. The doctor didn't give me any or recommend any nausea medicine. My doctor said it was okay to have liquid protein after the first day but I am thinking that is what is making me have nausea. I am going to go back to broth. I have been trying to get plenty of water and taking my vitamins. Took my first shower this morning also. No problem. Went to work this morning for half a day. My next doctors appointment is on next Monday. Good luck
