  1. My hysterectomy was about 10 years sgo. I hear you about not being able to lose weight. The band is changing my life. I was banded on 11/30/08. Today was my 2nd fill and i'm down thirty pounds. I am now at 5cc fill so i do expect the next couple of months will bring at least 20 +.
  2. :confused:I went for my 1 week post op appointment on Sunday 12/7. I had lost 17 lbs. Everyone in the office was stunned. Dr. Nazarian who did the surgery said this is not typical but kind of yelled at me because I wasn't consistently drinking the protien shakes. The whole week after surgery I wasn't one bit hungry. All This is probably because I'm old :)LOL. This week I'm up and have a bit of an appetitie but amy only drinking protien and chicken noodle soup. I just wondered if anyone else ever lost this much. From the posts I read before I thought maybe 8-10 lbs. Today I'm down another 2 lbs.
