  1. My healing is going pretty well! First few days were painful, nauseating but no vomiting (YAY!). Now, my staples are pulling and that hurts but they come out tomorrow and I can't wait. It amazes me how quickly I've noticed it takes me to finish food now! In the course of one day I've managed to eat 1 can of tomato soup! Crazy when before I'd have that a whole lot more in just one sitting!
  2. Hello All! I am approaching my 8th Post Op day when I can start soft moist solid foods. Most of the items suggested on my list are things I'm not too fond of eating but am willing to try since it's going to be my means of survival for the next 2 to 3 weeks. Besides, the less I can eat in general now, the less I have to suffer through right? Anyways, my doc has suggested things like cottage cheese, eggs, baked fish, tofu, yogurt etc. What kinds of things did you eat during this time? A friend suggested Chef Boyardee Mini Raviolis or Spaghettio's but I don't know if that's a good idea. What says those who have been there done that with this stage? Thanks!
  3. Hello Everyone! My name is Brandy and I just got banded on Tuesday, November 4th, a historic day for me on two levels with the outcome of the presidential election and with my new start on life! I'm already noticing the changes and can hardly wait to see what my new future holds! Looking forward to chatting with you all.
