  1. Lucky you...I was banded Jan 2, 2009 and still no loss...talk about frustrating and not sure what i'm doing wrong. I havea 10cc band too and i'm at 7.5 or 8ccs. Each time I got a fill they took out a different amount that was put in the time before so i'm really not sure what i'm at. I do have pain at the band site but I assume that is b/c i dont chew my food enough. then i jsut get frustrated and don't even want to eat for fear I'll feel that uncomfortable pain. And soups are easy to have but then i just blow up with all of the sodium! Maybe i just need to get my butt in the gym every day for 2 hrs! You'd think with not eating much I would have lost a little...I'm beginning to feel like i'm disappointing everyone also and wish i hadn't told anyone of my surgery. I have a trip planned for Puerto Vallarta in July and would really like to drop at least 20 lbs...should i get another fill? Why hasn't my body adjusted yet??? Any advice? Maybe i'll just try to live on canned tuna for hte next 2 months! UGH!
  2. I too had severe back/side pain during the first week post op. I had my 6 week f/u, 1st fill this past Friday Feb 13 and the back pain came back last night (Tues) where i thought i had to go to the ER. After the heating pad not working, it never did in the beginning either, i got down 2 advil and put on an ice pack. The ice seemed to do the trick...enough for me to sleep 1 hr. It's better but still there. It's really annoying and i'm thinking maybe i ate something wrong to cause this. Anyone else have this happen? It's funny that i don't even have any pain where i thought i should...on my front side! :blushing:
  3. I had mine done on Jan 2 and also TOM...no worries. I wore a tampon and it was no big deal. All incisions were above my belly button. Although, when i woke up they had placed a towel down there and taped it to my underware line in the creases of my upper thigh...perhaps that was in case i unconsciously wet myself while i was "out"! Best of luck! you'll do great!
