  1. Hey everyone! I'm a 20 year old female from Rhode Island. I have gained about 130 pounds since I graduated from high school 3 years ago. It's really getting out of hand and i need help. I try to diet and exercise, but i have underactive thyroids which makes it hard to lose weight. I was wondering if I would make a good candidate for the lap band surgery. i have a BMI of 48. i wasn't sure if i was to young for it and i was wondering if anyone has any advice. Thanks a ton!:rolleyes2:
