When are you getting this error? Also, are you using the website - or are you using the iOS or Android app? I'm not seeing any logged errors for this one, but I believe we've resolved 99% of the issues so far. Thanks to all for helping us identify these issues!

Reputation is given for Like, Thanks and "Haha" reactions. Negative reputations are disabled. There was a bug a while back that would allow for a negative reputation to be given, but we've since resolved that issue.

Correct - your reputation is only improved when content that you authored or created is liked directly.

To answer your first question regarding trending topics, a topic can become trending when it has attained a set amount of replies within a certain time frame. A like to a post does not influence whether or not a topic can become trending. With regards to a members reputation, you nailed it. When someone "Likes" your content, you earn reputation. Hopefully that answers your questions, if it doesn't or if you have any other questions just let me know

@proudgrammy I managed to find out exactly what happened here. It seems you were looking at her photo in the Gallery and you clicked on the "Set as my profile picture" button on the image...and it did exactly that On another note, that's just a silly button to have available for every photo in the gallery..not sure why they'd do that. I've gone ahead and modified the code to only show that button on images that belong to your own album.

Thanks for reporting this! Can you let me know what version of the app you’re currently using? It should be listed at the bottom of the expanding menu, which is accessible by tapping the 3 lines at the top left of the app screen. I've reviewed your account and it does appear that you're receiving points appropriately. In case you want to check your earning history, you can go to the Rewards Page on the BariatricPal Store website. Just beneath "Follow us on Instagram" you'll see a "View Rewards History" link. Please let me know if you see a discrepancy or have any other issues and we'll get it all sorted out :-) Thanks!

Well guys and gals..I think you'll be happy to know that as of yesterday around 2PM PDT this issue was resolved. We're still keeping a close eye on it, but we believe that it's 100% fixed.

@proudgrammy It looks like you're receiving e-mails as you should. The last e-mail sent to you for the "Good and Bad" topic was at approximately 11:28AM Pacific Time - which was the time of the last post made to that topic. With regards to your notifications while on the site, I'm not too sure what you're referring to. I don't believe we have any type of notifications appearing on the bottom right of the website, though we do have notifications on the bottom left that show when users purchase or review certain items from the BariatricPal store. If you're viewing a topic, and someone replies to that topic while you're viewing it - you'll see a message at the bottom of the screen that says how many replies and a link that says "Show Reply" or "Show Replies". When you click on that, it will bring them up. I may not be understanding the issue you're having - but you are indeed receiving e-mails as normal and I am able to see that you did click the link in the email to view the "Good and Bad" topic. Conveniently - Frustr8 just responded to this topic while I'm writing my response, and I can see it there at the bottom of the screen. And I Just checked the email system and you should have received an email for that as well :-)

@Frustr8 It's possible that the followers you're referring to were from your previous username prior to March 2nd. With regards to long click, what are you referring to specifically? Generally speaking, that's a term used for touch screen devices (phones & tablets), and it means rather than tapping the screen in one swift motion, you hold down slightly longer. Depending on the device, that could be anywhere from 1-3 seconds.

If you'd like, I can go ahead and generate a random password for you and send it to you via the same e-mail I sent notifying you that you should try out the Beta version - does that sound good?
