  1. Hi! I am approved for banding, but hesitant. I have blood sugar issues (not diabetic) and am afraid if I have the surgery and cannot eat much that I won't be able to get enough Protein to keep my blood sugar balanced. I am lactose intolerant so I can't get my protein through dairy. Right now I rely on chicken, fish, turkey, nuts, and Beans. Did anyone else have blood sugar problems prior to surgery? How did it work out for you after surgery? Thanks :cool2:
