Brigham and Faulkner LB Support Calendar 2009
I have not flown the coop. I am not talking with any other site. I've been a little depressed and dealing with some personal issues in my life. I'm still losing about a pound a week. I go to ww and get weighed in each week. I'm just down in the dumps right now and I'm trying to work thru my stuff.

Job Lot has digital scales for 20.00 if you live near one and want to take the other one back. I have priced others at targets at 39.99 too much money for my taste

Hi Friends I was scheduled for this Tuesday with Dr. Mun for a fill. But I'm waiting until he returns back to his practice. His office called yesterday for me to come in today for some surgeon who would be filling in for him. I was not comfortable with that. I said I would wait for him to return. I'm quessing that he will take a least a month off to get thru this difficult time in the life of his family. But in any way. I can wait. I went to Weight Watcher this morning and I lost 1.6 pounds this past week. That was good news. I really didn't think I had lost anything since I had been on my hersey kisses binge. Jay I hope all is well with you glad you didn't catch anything on the green line going home. Singintherain we are never too old to do what is necessary to take care of our Temples. I'm down 31 lbs since 12/3 and going. Luv2teech you are a real source of inspiration to me. I'm glad that we reconnected from the curves days. I enjoy your pearls of wisdom. You have lived what I'm experiencing and it helps me to know that everything is going to be alright. That I can reach my goal. Tinywishes I hope that you are feeling better today. Heidib hang in there girl, you can make it. To all have a blessed day.

Hi Fellow Banders I wanted to inform the support group that Dr. Mun lost his dtr this past weekend. Please keep this family in your prayers. I was informed by one of the nurses who has worked with him. I spoke with his staff people and they suggested that if patients wanted to send cards to him to send them to faulkner hospital. I have an appointment but that will be cancelled. I'm feeling so sad for this family.

I know I half to make this tool work for me. I just needed to confess my shortcomings to those of you who understand what I'm going thru right now.

Hi Jayinma I'm glad that a date has finally been set. I was banded at the faulkner and Dr. Mun was my surgeon. I personally like him. I find him to be caring and concern. I to had a double hernia and Dr. Mun took care of that as well. I was treated very well at the faulkner and you will be to. You have done very well on your pre-opt and will continue to do well on your post-opt. It is not as long as it has been. The 12th is almost upon us. Keep the faith and if you are able to attend the group. We look forward to seeing you if not take it easy and we will see you in March. ylj

I went thru the same emotions that you are experiencing right up to the morning of my surgery. I will say that inspite of my emotions I still continue to move on with the journey. When I woke up, I wanted to know when the surgery was going to happen.lol.Its been 5 weeks yesterday and its the best decision that I could have made for myself and my well being. I have lost over 30 lbs I'm sleeping better, feeling better, and folks say I look better. healthier that is. I'm glad I made this decision. Your feelings and emotions are normal. You are always afraid of the unknown. I have found this forum to be a blessing in my life. These ladies supported me 100%. Everything is going to be alright.
