Just got my date... as happy as I am about everything moving along, (in my case, very fast from what I've read-5 weeks start to surgery date) I have to admit that I'm scared!!!!! The reality is really kicking in. I can't even pinpoint one thing that I'm anxious/ scared about, but one of my biggest fears has to do with the surgery itself - !

Hi...I'm in CT and after three years of thinking about it, I have taken the steps to have a Lap Band. Of course, now I want it done tomorrow! I've chosen Dr. Elmer Valin at St. Rafaels in New Haven. :biggrin: He comes highly recommened - is there anyone out there who has him as their Dr.?
