Hey Maggifer, I am so glad you made it.:sneaky: The pain in the shoulder for me did not come until the second or third day. But keep in mind not everyone has this pain. Everyday I got better, now that I am 7 days out, my engery level is why up for me to be able to clean my living room. Again CONGRATS!

I am so glad that everyone is doing so great! I hear what you are saying Jennifer about the engery. We loss just a few lbs and now the engery level goes up. I had some much engery today that I cleaned the living room. I thought I never have that engery level to clean again. I Love My Band!

So how many have had their surgery so far this month?
Don't be to concern. Some people don't have the gas issue. And if you do have some gas it will soon come. I took about 3 days before my started to pass through.

Scared/Nervous-Second guessing myself
I have to tell you all something. I was the same way before my surgery on the 8th. This is so normal. I didn't loss any weight before my surgery. Guess what! IT IS SO WORTH IT! I did it and I am now only 5 days out. I have lost about 12 lbs in 5 days. You all can do this if I can. It is not bad at all. I also did eat and could not stop eating. Now I hardly eat at all because I am not hungry. I have to make myself eat. Congrats! and Good Luck, my prayers and thoughts are with everyone.

I can see that there are so many differences within doctors already. My doctor don't me to have any protein drinks until the second week. When I do get to drink protein I need to drink at least 50 to 60 grams a day. Also my doctor did use the super glum method on me instead of stitches or staples. Isn't that funny how there are so many different rules but you still have the same ending results.

Trust me Ronda1966 it is worth it and you will be fine. I had to use several pillows under me for a couple of days when I wasn't in the recliner. Try to use pillows, it does help. The best news I can say is I have not taken any of my medicine for sugar in 10 days. My sugar is staying in the range of 120 to 86. I am so happy about that. Also my wedding rings, I can wear them on the right finger, and they are moving around the finger like they need to do. I am so excited about the future if this continues.....Wooohoo!:cursing:

Question about hunger pains.
I don't have the gas pains like that at all. I am sorry you do. I used gas-x and heating pad plus walked. I am still passing gas but I am not hurting. My belly is just making all these nosies. I am glad to see you are back.:tongue2: How are you doing. I am fine. When do you go back to see Dr. Moran? I need to go on Tuesday at 9. So far I lost about 11 lbs but I don't know where it is at.

Anyone getting banded in January
I am too sorry daqui for that you have to wait. Just keep your head up and it will soon be here before you know it. I will be praying for you. I had my surgery on the 8th and I am doing fine. I don't think was a mistake at all. I just wish I could have done this sooner in life. Good luck with everyone's up coming surgery's. My prayers are with each one of you.

They do stop the hungry pains I think I am having. My belly makes all kinds of nosies. I hope this stops soon. Has anyone heard from mommaof3boys yet. She was done the day before me.
