  2. I used to work for the original owner shortly after it opened in Santa Monica, before the system was an " on infomercial". It was a diet and exercise program. Now, it's less work and more profit for investors to promote just the diet part. What you have to remember is this: It's a quick Makeover where you pull out all the stops to drop weight quickly. Like the show Biggest Loser, it's not a way to live! You will gain weight back after you stop unless you adopt healthy habits to counter that. How do you know you are living a healthy, balanced life? When your weight stabilizes at a level you can maintain and even be proud of, while eating a balanced diet and exercising. If your weight increases, you're no longer balanced. You might be eating too many carbs or sugar, which stimulates your appetite center and makes you crave more food than you need. You need to exercise, move more, and walk more. Eat at least 120g of protein daily (ideally 1g per target weight) and get used to eating 30-40g of carbs per meal—no more! The rest should come from vegetables. Eliminate regular juices and soft drinks; diet drinks are okay (unsweetened is best, like water or tea). If you still gain weight, slowly reduce your calories— in other words, eat a little less! Looking ahead, on days when you go out or overindulge, try to move for an hour either moderately before or after, or vigorously for 15-30 minutes. If that doesn’t help, you should see a doctor and get professional help. Don't waste your time, effort, and money, you simply need professional help, it's not your fault.
