Biography
Hi… I am Liam… I have always been a big guy, but because I was tall my weight kinda didn’t “feel” as bad I as thought. Now I’m older and I don’t wanna keep missing out.

Hey everyone! I had my surgery on the 9th! Everything went really well, I’m still a little sore, but it gets easier every day. The biggest challenge has been the protein shakes, while they were good at first, I have begun to have a dislike for them. Tomorrow is mashed potatoes, soups, and creamy peanut butter! Looking forward to that immensely. So far I haven’t experienced any nausea or vomiting. I already feel a change in my weight I’ve lost 25 lbs between my preop and post op diet. Once I start working out the weight should fall off. Thanks to everyone who greeted me and sent their well wishes!

I’m so sorry you had to go through that. Especially after your surgery. I’m pre op with my surgery happening on the 9th. I’m going through a rough patch in my relationship and I’m afraid we may not make it. I didn’t even think about the statistics of relationships ending being related to the surgery… still I wish you the best of luck! Just keep being awesome.

I and on my pre op diet right now. I drink a shake in the morning and a snack in the afternoon and a pure protein meal for dinner. After surgery, it’s pure liquid for 3 weeks, which doesn’t seem too bad. The Premier shakes keep me pretty good for a while. It’s honestly not been too bad.

That’s awesome! I’ve also only told my immediate family and my coworkers. Good luck with yours as well!

Hi, I’m Liam… My surgery is Friday May 9th 2025… I’m really nervous but very excited to start this next chapter of my life. I was hoping to talk with people going through it or have been through it. I haven’t really been able to talk to anyone lately and thought it would be nice to reach out. If anyone has any questions about my experience so far, and how long it took to get through the process, I am an open book!
