  1. Thanks Crystal...You know after your response and you said left side, I realized it was my LEFT not my RIGHT side.. Wow, pretty bad when I can not tell my left from right...lol My pain started sometime early this A.M. and everytime I take a deep breath the sharp pain kicks in.. Hopefully it will subside soon.... G
  2. Good morning....I am 7 days post-op and I woke up this morning with bad, bad, BAD:crying: sharp pain in my right side rib area. I have not had any of the gas pains that people talk about, so I am not sure if that is what it is or what it may be. Anybody out there have similiar experiences?????? Thanks, G
  3. That is awesome, thanks so much for posting the link. G
  4. I'm not advocating throwing up at all. Unfortunately, it was my only way to relieve the painful hiccups that I was having. I wish I could have found a better solution... G
  5. I was banded on November 4th and I had the WORSE :rolleyes2: case of hiccups. Everytime I took a sip of Water, it would gurgle and then settle down. If I ended up having too much water in my system, then I would have the hiccups for about an hour until I discovered how to get rid of them, throw up. :cool2: That doesn't sound like fun, but it was great relief and the hiccups stopped. By day 3, my hiccups subsided and I felt better. G
  6. I can say that I didn't experience the gas pains that everyone talked about . I consider myself to be extremely lucky:thumbup:. Other than being bloated the first day, today my stomach almost feels normal...:rolleyes2:
  7. Hello fellow bandsters. I was banded on Monday 11/03/2008 and I have a hard enough time with my Water least of all any Protein. The first night was hell with the hiccups and the frothy Fluid...lol I'm now 2 days post-op and fell better, but still have some issues with the hiccups. I sipped on an Atkins drink today to make sure that I get some protein in me, but other than that just water, water and water...lol As far as hunger goes, what is hunger??? LOL
