  1. I can hardly wait, Donna!
  2. Have no fear. Many have gone before you. You will do fine.
  3. Hey Johnathan!
  4. Congrats on doing so well, Aimee! Sounds like it is in the bag now.
  5. Wow! That is great. I never realized it happens that quickly. That is my one chronic health issue and I pray that it will be resolved when I have the sleve.
  6. Sending positive energy your way.
  7. Holding you in the light.
  8. Congrats! That is my day too!
  9. Hi Donna,It really has come more quickly than I expected. I arrive on the 8th also. I will be coming alone and will be staying at the guest house as well. I toyed with staying at the hotel, but I think life will be easier at the hotel. I also will get to socialize! I am so thrilled that you will be able to spend time with your mother and sister. I am very sorry for the loss of your step-mother. I would imagine it would be extremely difficult to miss both her and your mother. I hope that your mother is healing well in AZ. Thirty-two years is a very long time. I look forward to meeting you and your folks!
  10. So am I! I can't believe it is almost time. It seemed so far away for so long!
  11. Amazing story! Thanks for sharing it. Many congrats.
  12. Holding you in the light. You will do splendidly.
  13. Congrats. Glad you are improving well.
  14. Holding you in the light.
  15. Perhaps those are people who aren't getting in their Vitamins? A good friend lost 120 pounds with RNY, looks great and is very happy. He has maintained his weight for a few years now. In fact, his doctor would like for him to gain a few pounds. Still, it isn't a procedure I would consider for myself. I definitely agree that it depends on the person's situation and goals.
  16. I was not sure where I should post this, but I wanted to share this story. I just saw a segment on Holley Mangold on HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. I thought she was interesting because she is 5'8", 354 and heading to the Olympics as a weightlifter. (She also is the sister of Jets center Nick Mangold). http://espn.go.com/blog/olympics/post/_/id/2617/holley-mangold-a-star-in-the-making
  17. What???? Who does that??? You seem to have a great attitude about it, though, so that is good. I know you will do splendidly. Sending light your way.
  18. Woo hoo! So thrilled for you!
  19. Yes, I am converting from band to sleeve. I got the band in February 2009. FYI, there are a few other threads on this topic. You can do a search if you want to see what other people have said. :-)
  20. Congrats! I consider that a nice surprise. You will do splendidly.
  21. Hi Donna,I just emailed Melissa about the laxatives. She told me that the doctor recommends one dose three days before your surgery. That is also what Louise told me.
  22. OMG! Yeah, that would do it.With that said, I pray that she will be better soon.
  23. WKeller, you have lost 158 pounds in less than 10 months? Wow! Congrats.
  24. OK, now I am confused. I specifically asked Louise about laxatives and she said to take just that dose three days before and no others. You took them every day, LovingmeForever?
