I can totally relate to you , I'm tired of people saying you look great but stop losing. I love my size . But getting nervous as to where the weight loss stop. My husband is even looking at me in a wired self conscious way .

Thank you guys , I will following up with surgeon on Monday ,in the meantime ginger tea I will start sipping.

I am experiencing the same problem ,6 weeks out , weak and the thought of protein shakes start making me ill. My surgeon says this a normal and keep thanking the Zofran, prior to food intake. I probably need to call him , to let him know it is not working. I have a constant metallic taste in my mouth ,which doesn't help the situation .

Had my band out Aug 9th the recovery is about the same , just less has pain for me. So happy made that decision , every fill , I was either too tight where could not eat or end up getting stuck to the place where I was in the ER. This was the best decision I made . You will not regret it!

1000mg daily is what I have been taking ,and with my Lapband the hair loss lasted about 3 months. So now that I went through the sleeve, I am scared I will going through the hair loss process again.. Yuck!

How food wasn't such a problem until you start your pre-op diet. Since I started LIQUID diet , my job have had 3 pot luck dinners and 2 birthdays that were celebrating with CHOCOLATE cake ... Now my husband have gift certificate for our favorite resturant !..,,,, boy and wouldn't you know all of this iwas in week span... I still have less than a week left ......HELP..

Wow I feel you I am scheduled Aug 9th and I woke up this morning in a panic,heart racing,I really had to talk myself into reality. I know this normal but I really don't remember feeling this way when I had my Lapband placed.

I totally understand, my husband do not want me to have the surgery, since I had the Lap-band and with all the complications and ending up in the ER 3 different times. He wish I just to cancel me date for Aug 9th, I keep saying NO! On the other hand I am excited and now counting down the days, but in the back of my mind I am starting to freak out toooooo. My mind is wondering all over the place.

Try Gaviscon not the store brand, it really work, I had horrible Heartburn during my pregnancy it was the only thing that work. Also after taking any antacids try not to drink water for 20-30 min ,That way it allows it to coat and work. When you drink water it just washes it away therefore you lose the effect.

My question to you would be ,is it painful, red,or draining fluid. And last does it have a ordor?. If yes to anyone of the listed then you should see a Doctor.

I am Aug 9 th so excited yet nervous , especially when I read all the different post ! I am a Lap-band converting to a sleeve . I was shock also because she called to tell me she was submitting me, then the next day she call for a surgery date.

Sorry I corrected it I have the Band now,and will be converting to the sleeve due to complications,,, sorry I didnt have my eyeglasses on when I wrote the post..lol
