  1. Thanks, I am hoping to stay off bp meds for good. Time will tell. I have heard of many people having diabetes resolved immediately after surgery. My Dr says that there is no explanation as to why. Those results are expected down the road after weight loss as with the blood pressure, but it is awesome to see results so soon. Good luck!

  4. I had my gastric sleeve on Tuesday 6/26/12. For years I have been on multiple medications for hypertension. I am 3 days post op and my blood pressure is looking better then it was while I was taking my meds. My Doctor chose not to resume my blood pressure meds at this time. He advised me to monitor my bp 4 times daily and said I may not need the meds any more!
