Looking for store version Campbell was horrid

Had mine June 5, first procedure ever and was nervous. Take it a day at a time

6 days of post op liquids to go and Campbell and Lipton soups SUCK! Any other suggestions?

Mine isn’t constant - I also feel very tired on exertion but mainly my shoulders if that makes any sense petrified about straining when going to the loo for inner stitches

This is a major test of faith I guess - not succumbing to the what if while being realistic mine settled on rest. Fingers crossed for complete smooth recovery

About 2 weeks post gastric sleeve and 2/3 days back feel sore/ heaviness in middle right abdomen - doc says it’s the inner sleeves healing but wonder why it developed 2-3 days before and not after surgery Anyone has similar experience?

Soup sounds good any store/ restaurant recommendations

Any savory ideas for post op liquid phase? Panera broccoli soup is nice but anything else?

I am using seeq protein in water - you take a scoop and put it in water to make a watery drink - better than the milk based version

More than the discharge it’s a stronger odor which I find disturbing - no incision surgeon said maybe nurse abraded the belly button while cleaning it before the procedure - ER says it’s looks normal but gave me anti fungal ointment - hope it resolves i I couldn’t stand the premier protein but no identifier lactose intolerance - just didn’t like the taste too sweet and heavy seeq protein water has been a lifesaver so I do two 14 oz servings of that and one 8 oz of fair life with whey protein and the rest water

I got it on the 5th and an anesthesia newbie like you. Recovery has been smooth so far except for a belly button discharge and odor which the surgeon says happened bc the nurse cleaned it too vigorously maybe. Fingers crossed for that to resolve with clotrimazole. liquid phase for 3 weeks .how are you doing with your fluid goals

Got the cheesecake flavor and made it with fair life and it’s so thick and sweet I can’t have more than a teaspoon sofar only savory option is Panera broccoli cheddar soup from which I pick out the veggies and have 4 oz

Any idea to make liquid diet. More palatable ? How can one amp proteins in sugar free jello pudding for example other than using fairlife and adding whey

So there was no incision - surgeon said the nurse may have abraded it when cleaning it before op & there maybe a fungal infection ER doc sent a sample for culture started me on clotrimazole cream - applied it yesterday with q tip - in the morning the q tip had light brown granular stuff on it and smelled musty - I am Guessing that’s the cream mixed with the normal button stuff - any idea?

PA checked it leaned it with peroxide inserted a Vick in with peroxide to remove after 48 hours thinks it’s just normal sebum praying for the best

Oh I assume the button incision is small and they don’t stitch it How do you wash the belly button after surgery ? The smell could be bc of the abdominal binder I wore constantly for the first five days

Just this discharge and a slightly stronger smell of normal belly nothing else waiirng for Dr to revert since yesterday

So are mine but my vent button is t shaped without any visible sutures and been leaking some brownish fluid

Anyone has any idea if the sleeve involves accessing through the bellybutton - if yes is it stitched? Trying to figure my discharge source

The PAsaid it could be residual blood and to monitor it. do they go through the be,my button too?

That’s what I am concerned about - I have no other symptoms. No redness nothing its not even an active leak - more like dark brown crusting on my trouser once in two days like bellybutton gunk

Did it !!!!!! Milk of magnesia 2 oz between 4 oz of water worked but you are right it was very watery bc nothing to come out I WAS CONCERNED About strain on stitches in stomach or skin when straining

Thank you for sharing your experience I don’t even know if I am constipated considering I have no urge or discomfort - it’s just I haven’t had a bowel movement for the past 3 days and am afraid of constipation affecting the stitches more than any symptoms If I hadn’t had the procedure I would assume this was bc I am having only protein water and fair life rather than any prob doing 4 oz water 2 oz milk of magnesia and 4 oz water today - the milk is horrid tasting ? let’s c
