  1. Hi all, I just joined today and am anxious to talk with you. I have gone through my 4 months of nurse and nutritionist meetings at my surgeon's office, had the lab work done, and am awaiting the news that I have been approved by my ins. co. Then they will schedule my surgery, probably in mid to late October. I am excited and apprehensive at the same time! I am 5'2" and weigh about 270 now. Yuck. I am hoping to get to my goal weight of 130. Slow and easy will do it. I get OH magazine and read for the first time this weekend about "sliming". I have not heard the term before and now I am worried about it. What is it and what causes it? Do all bandees get this?
