Ali told her she'd have immunity this week but nothing we saw mentioned she could loose it untill Allison said unless you gained weight (at the weigh in) this kind of stood out for me...when the scales went up I wasn't as surprised...Usually out of the way comments like that are for a reason. I just wish that stipulation had been aired when she was given immunity. I've never known it to exist before. I so agree Ron should have been out of there. Yes I saw Nicole as a threat but Ron turned on the Fillipe last week yet was mad this week. Kristin wimped, she was mad at Ron as well and knows hes just trying to keep Mikey there. Grrrr can't stand Ron or Kristin

I'm down to around 3 ounces of food most of the time if that. My Dr kept saying it may be 2 bites it may be 20 bites well even though right now I still want to taste things that I really like I am learning I pay dearly and and slowly coming to terms with it. I'm loosing 3 lbs a week on 1 fill and my pcp dr today said its ok to be eating so little just to concentrate on my protein and make sure I take my vitamins he says this is what the bands all about.....I guess the slow down, chew more, and eat lots less just really takes some getting use to. Once in awhile I feel like I can eat close to 4 ounces but not often without hurting. My new fav food is crab legs and 3 ounces today hurt bad, I had to give the rest to my hubby even though I really love it. My pcp was so happy with the way its working and I am about the weight loss its the other thats hard to adjust to not to mention hearing my hubby say "I don't know how you do it".....well its the belt that has me stopping ...the belt that makes me hurt if I don't or worse PB eeekk and I've had enough of that in 2 months to last forever. I was surprised they don't want my eart rate above the 120's so for me I'm gonna start brisk walking tomorrow and build up slowly pcp dr says I should loose even faster. putting it on was easy and no one promised me the same in taking it off so here I am....I've decided the band and I will learn to work together and I will losse this weight. I'm so grateful that the fill I had helps me go so much longer without being hungry even though I eat so little. Now its like when I quit smoking, I have to learn the psychological changes and triggers and maybe then it will be more like some of the success stories I've read about......until then I guess I can't say anything other than I'm willing to do what my band says to get this weight off

How Little of Food id to Little
I haven't found much information on it to be honest and was surprised when my Dr told me I had it since I think Nov was the first one used. The biggest difference is I seem to be restricted already with him only putting in 2 cc's and even before that was restricted. I was 204 the day of surgery and 174 now, so in 2 months and 3 days I've lost 30 lbs. I also noticed he didn't give me a fill as soon as most people gte theirs. I haven't had mine 2 weeks yet. I can't say for sure theres really all this difference but in my case it seems to be differant. I have a problem that makes exercising harder for me than most so maybe since I didn't want RNY thats why he decided to use this one. Like I said its just speculation on my part and I may even be living in my own little make believe world but whatever it is its working. He says Now when I hit a wall I'll be singing a differant tune LOL...Seriously I can't help but wonder if I'd loose faster if I could exercise more. I'll keep googling and see if I can find anything else that seems pertinent Heres a site I just found, now Im not sure if je called it new generation or 2nd will have to ask again LOL Good Luck http://www.thebanddoctor.com/default/weight-loss-surgery/lap-band

How Little of Food id to Little
I have the new band generation 2 and thre isn't a ton of information on it but sometimes I wonder if that could be the difference or if I am super lucky. Its weird eating such little foods but as long as thats how its suppose to be I'll pop my vitamins and keep going. Glad your doing so well too :smile2:

How Little of Food id to Little
I've only had 1 fill but even before that I felt restriction. My meals since solids have always been 4 ounces or less. Since my first fill I've felt tighter, then some relief and now I'm tighter again. I'm loosing with little to no exercise, but I wonder how little is to little. My dr says maybe 2 bites maybe 20 bites. Most meals are pretty slim and the only time I feel I get hungry is late at night like 6 hours after dinner which seems normal. I just want to make sure since I'm eating so little that I concentrate on protein first as my dr suggests. Honestly the only time I get anything else is maybe one cooked mini carrot or when I do corn flakes for breakfast. If this is where I'm suppose to be thats great I am doing ok with the mental withdrawl now except when I think about the holidays. I'm really curious to know if anyone else is eating so little. Oh I normally only eat 3 times a day and maybe once in awhile a string cheese for a snack late at night. Thanks in advance

I assumed Laura and Kristen didn't pull because of the brace Laura was wearing and Kristins "Medical" problem It was so childish when they put the weight on Helen for staying with Jillian instead of the all mighty original bob-lleheads. I think she was well aware of what was going on. Tara was due IMHO for a break down, shes been kicking but and outting up low numbers all the while knowing she ha that huge target on her back. Theres no doubt had she not had immunity last night she would of gone hime with her % of weight loss. I think she rocks. Its Tara who makes me feel like I can do things my mind and body scream no to, while Kristin may of been the first female to loose 100 she does NOT inspire me to do anything other than PB The ones who voted for Aubrey were stupid. We know the game playing is in tact but from last nights show all you could see was the bob'le heads grrrrrr

Still pretty tight and my tummys extremely picky about what I try to eat........to me it seems overly picky.....I read about people eating things that I have -100 tolerance for and it makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I can't eat chicken from restaurants so far tried 3 differant places, PB all 3 times but when I fix it its fine. My list of off limits is huge......BUT HAPPY 2 MONTH ANNIVERSARY TO EVERYONE :rolleyes2::thumbup::scared2::thumbup:

I can't let go of my "way too big clothes"...pls advice!
I haven't lost as many sizes as you I don't think but I did have to part with some of my comfort clothes. I dearly loved what I called my tent dresses, they now belong to my sister who has always been bigger than me. Even though I knew she needed them it was hard. One thing that help was when I put on a smaller shirt not tight just smaller I saw me a bit smaller. I could see that the triplets I'd been carrying around were gone.....I still wanted to keep, for me it was that just in case thing. I've been t4elling myself its ok I'm never going back there. Now that I've done it I've thought about them a few times. Its strange but I miss them, the thought that I could throw them on and cover some of me was comforting. Not to mention it was hard to find them. I guess I'll dread it each time I do it. The only other thing thats helped is telling myself if this fails who cares, fat clothes are never pretty, I would just be fat in a tent dress. I'm headed down for a change. Good luck in letting go

Problem that doctor didn't warn me about!
I use what I call finger bowls, saucers and the biggest is a salad plate. I was banded a little behind you 1/23 and know what you mean but after 2 bouts with PB I stay right at 4 ounces, I had cut my portion sizes way down before but nothing like this. Its hard, usually I only eat the main course or maybe 3 ounces of protein and a bite of broccoli. Right now I'm going through the fill part so I'm back to liquids qorking on mushies. Its getting easier although I hate when I get reminded of what I was able to eat when I was young and thin and how eating all I wanted got me where I'm at now. Each day I miss it a little less, I can't imagine the holidays yet or a picnic. I survived my sisters birthday party by bringing a rotisserie chicken for us and that helped. Hang in there.

The strange part is last night I was able to eat some baked potatoe but I know how that turns to sugar, so I was hoping to move along to something else. I gave up on the noodle part and drank some of the broth, I can't believe how full I am, no more of that worrying that liquids will push what I ate right through and I'll be hungry again its been quite awhile and I'm as full as I was when I said no more. Since this happened to you I'll give it a few more days. Guess broth, pop sicles amd fudge sicles will hang out awhile longer Thanks for answering....now if I could get it to email me again when theres a reply that would be great

Vote for your favorite protein drink!
The Whye Liquid protein Bullit. I but the 42 grams and split it, half in the morning half at night. I order online they don't seem to have them at GNC here plus the nearest GNC that I know of is an hour away I've tried all but the orange flavor. I think blue raspberry is my fav

Really Need Your Advice
Thanks for all your posts, the way I was feeling did finally pass and I was so glad. I doubt that I will want to try a hot dog or slaw again for awhile. I'm about 7 weeks out and haven't had my first fill yet its Monday afternoon, but it seems strange to me I've already dealt with PB and have a lot of restriction. I was telling my DH I can't imagine eating less than 4 ounces which is all I can tolerate right now. I guess I'll find out next week

Wow he looks so good, you would think he'd have no choice but to have some with as much as he lost (referring to Jared of course)

Not sure who he is, the two were done together, I assumed that was where they got the idea for the Star Wars person

OMG that was probably a bit much and in all fairness, I'm a flat chested sawed off rumpkin that looks like she should of delivered the triplets a month ago. When I was thin wayyyyyyy back I was flat chested with bird legs so its always something. People see us the way they see us. If you have a big enough paddle to do any good I'll bend over and take my medicine:eek:

My DH says there was a character on Star Trek who had the same face as Rons stomach. he tried a couple of weeks ago to find the name of the character or creature but didn't have any luck and isn't a big enough trekkie. Me I see gills, yeah I know its not nice but we all see what we see. Maybe if he wasn't such an a$$ we'd see a good personality and not some idiot condeming what we believe in (WLS) after all he said he was proof it didn't work so if hes the WLS spokesperson that makes it worse. By the way hes the one who choose to take his top off in front of the world

The black team would have been the tie breaker and they had already said they would send sister Aubrey home, they saw her as the biggest threat to them and Kristian had immunity. So in order to keep that from happening mansy didn't let it go to a tie, she felt her sister Aubrey needed to be there more than she did

All the numbers shocked me. I was surprised the blue teams didn't kick butt and the blacks suck bigger, but it just goes to show why we are on here sometimes saying I can't seem to get the scale to move. I felt for the blue even though I'm rooting for black. Sometimes there just doesn't seem to be any explanation for what our bodies do to us. Not to be cruel but her 2 lb gain could have been from water retention from her cycle, who knows. A million explanations, none of which I'm sure were good enough for her. The black team needs to get back to being tough if they want to stay out of the elimination room. They have to burn those calories off as well as extra to loose. I think they all seemed to realize luxury came at a high price, but could have been higher. The scales should be interesting next week.......is it just me or does anyone else think Capt Kristian is annoying as much as Ron?

I know I am going to soooooooo regret this but the truth is we are probably all guilty of descriptive names. I for one hate being referred to as "that redhead" or "fat redhead" or any other descriptive term but we do it. I do it and I'm willing to bet so does everyone else at one time or another. It doesn't make it right it makes us human
