  1. My doctor, Owens, does the Sleeve in California and in Mexico! I almost chose the Sleeve because i could tell that he thinks i'd lose more weight then the lap band (which I did). It costs more than Lap band though and i am a cash pay. I'm happy i did the lap band, but i've heard good things about the Sleeve too.
  2. I went to Dr. Owens in Rancho Cucamonga because i didnt have insurance. I have lost 44 pounds.
  3. I heard that insurance companies will cover complications even if they didnt do the surgery. What if you just went to the emergency room? I didnt have insurance of any kind so my doctor would only do the surgery where I wouldn't have to pay extra if there was a problem.
  4. Great! I went to introductions to tell my story but i don't have any pictures to attach. Maybe my doctors office can do it for me next time?
  5. Hello... My opinion is you should ask your doctor what's going on. It seems like you've had a lot of fills already. theres alot of information on Home about adjustments.
  6. Hello! I'm a 45 year old successful Lap Bander! I'm new to this site, and new to online chats, so I'm just feeling my way to see how this all works. I attend a support group where i heard about this site to share info. I think they should have taught us how this works!
