  1. Thanks for all the replies. At least I know that I'm not a band failure and will persist with the fills.
  2. I was banded on Sept 11 and am down about 20lb. All of that weight was lost while I was on liquids. This morning I got on the scale (my arch enemy) and practically wanted to crawl back in bed and pull the covers over my head when I discovered a two pound gain. Instead, I'll go to the gym today, make another fill appointment and admit that the party is over.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I'm going in for another fill on Thursday. Hopefully, something will kick in otherwise this was the most expensive failed weight loss attempt in my very long history.
  4. Help! I have just come through Thanksgiving and a trip to Celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I actually gained two pounds. I can eat anything and in quite large quantities. My husband just looks at me after a meal and says -- "I guess this didn't work for you". It is so disheartening Has anyone taken 3 or more fills to feel restriction?
  5. Siren, I have been lurking around this board since just before my banding on September 11. Tonight I was looking for someone with a similar experience to mine. Looks like you are it! I have been throwing up pretty much daily. :tt2: Some foods that I think will be easy to eat come right back up and sometimes I am surprised by what I can keep down. In the end, I figured it was how I was eating and not what. I guess I'll have to eat smaller bites and not go for the food with quite so much gusto. Lots of reprogramming to do.
