  1. You are killing it! I def see it in the pictures. I didn't do much before and after like I should have. But people are noticing too. I am so ready for warmer weather and I am in GA so it's warmer compared to some but just give me the spring/ summer. I want to be outside walking not on my treadmill lol
  2. Hey all. How is everyone doing at their one month mark? Just checking in. Myself: before liquids my highest weight was 217 Before surgery 207 Now 187 ?
  3. Hi all how are my 12/27 and 12/28 buddies doing? Had my surgery 12/28. Doing well. Pain is here and there. But down to 198 as of this morning. Highest weight before liquids was 217 ?. Small wins!!
  4. Hey guys!!! Day 9 ? I cannot believe we all made it!!! Those who already had surgery you all are killing it! Those with the date of the 27,28,29th!!! There is the light!!! I am beyond proud of myself and love this support group! I am very scared of this dumping phase and learning everything but I just can't wait to see the new me! This momma is tired and is long overdue for a new change for herself!
  5. I'm glad all is good and I get it 100%. I'm nervous myself but apparently my surgery is about 30 mins they say. I'm just paranoid about all the stuff we are seeing after surgery that people are questioning.
  6. Oh my gosh @MLC3409 why the 360 with the doctor? And I don't blame you with the food because this is very hard work (especially for myself with a husband and three kids). Did he find something wrong yesterday? Is he going to keep the surgery date? (I think you said yes) and they wouldn't be ordering meds without telling you. Keep on plugging along!! And remember the why and keep telling yourself that...Reach out whenever...my problem is I am also looking at stuff for the purees stage and so on lol because I want time to fly by. I been adding "bullion" to my broth as a treat.
  7. Guys I don't know why but yesterday day 5 was pretty hard for me. Not the first three days lol...I just wanted to say for anyone who has the 28th we are almost there!! I am drinking a bit more broth in between but probably because I am bored and it's cold now in south GA ?. Love seeing everyone's posts!
  8. Thank you and same to you! I don't see it being too much of a challenge but let's see. Hopefully I'll make myself be very busy lol
  9. Here's to day 1 ? time flew to get here. Let time fly now through this lol. I am watching you all kill this!!
  10. Hi Alex. Allow yourself grace. Yes easier said then done but your mind and body are all adapting to this new rapid change. No one is perfect! And you made the most important decision you could and decided you wanted to take back your life. And are giving yourself a great gift of adding years to live. I don't know if this will help but remember one minute at a time or moment at a time. We are human and mistakes are okay and you realized that and moved on. MLC3409- well said and I feel you both one all of that year robbing. I am 35 and have a 7,4,and 1.5 yr old and feel this as well. Especially the yoyo weight loss effort I took with the 7 and 4 year old. Robber time from them when I just ended up back at my regular weight again. But now we move forward with a better choice to keep this weight loss and enjoy life more. We are all here for support. Keep in touch!
  11. Just did my EDG ? moving rigbt along!!
  12. Can't wait to see how you recovery as well and well and keep in touch. We can all feed off of each other!
  13. That's so much! He does so that won't be a problem too much but he is also ad military so very busy. But we plan to eat better as whole family so that least there is that. I know the meal planning will be a lot of the ball game with surgery for sure. Good luck to you! Keep in touch!
  14. That's great! Where could I find some ideas for the family meals? I have a family of 5 so I love to have those.
  15. I def feel the same. Food wasn't too bad for me. I wish mine went out of the way for ice cream...that's awesome!! Mine were nice too so I am hoping the floor I have the surgery on is nice as well.
  16. We got this! One day at a time. Once you see what you need each day the next will get easier. I'm sure. It is a lot of prepping. We were told 5 shakes a day liquids sugar free jello popsicles broth etc. I never had any type of surgery before so I am getting scared myself only thing that came close was childbirth ?
  17. I have to do two weeks pre op starting the 13th and two weeks post op, you have two days each pre and post op?. Let's all keep in touch
  18. I am so happy you commented on my post! Means a lot. 230 was my pregnant weights. I got done to 170 with a trainer and on my own once or twice and that was a great version on me but clearly after 3 kids I just can't do it on my own or mentally with my daily life services. 197 pre surgery is great!! ❤️ Girllll I am a donut creamer lover so I can't wait to see the weight I drop before hand as well. We won't look back after this! Please keep in touch with updates I would love to see your progress!!!
  19. Got my surgery date for December 27th. Very excited but also very scared as I never had a procedure done before but it's time for this momma to start caring of herself. Currently 212 doctor thinks I'll loose about 80lbs so I am excited to see. Also about 5'1 so pretty short. Anyone needs an accountability / super partner I am here!!
