I had my surgery on the 5th with Kuri, don't have scales lol so nothing to report yet.

I was banded on the 5th & smoked a pack or more a day until surgery & still do , not that i am recommending smoking - it is horrible for you but it is my addidction. I get down on myself about it all the time, but my surgery went fine and recovery is going well. Don't let a couple of cigs stop you from having the surgery.

I am being banded may 10th, and i haven't been nervous at all until today. I am scared something will go wrong, i mean i have a 3 year old, i am just wondering if it is worth it. also i don't have any insurance, so if something does go wrong (other than death), how will i pay for it? I just am very scared at this point.

Can everyone tell me what you felt like the day after sugery & what you were able to do? Thanks

I am curious to know if anyone that has lost 80 - 100 lbs or more not had to have cosmetic surgery? Like if your skin went back into place? lol You know what i mean!

Does anyone have planter faciitis? I do & can't walk without horrible pain. I am scheduled for surgery May 10 & i hear everyone saying how you have to walk so much. I am just wondering how people with this problem were able to deal with it.

sorry it didn;t let me finish - diet pill, an over the counter one is xenadrine nrg, i may have mispelled that, but you get the idea, you can get it at wal mart, good luck

I just talked to JR at fill centers usa & said they are opening an office in Winnsboro in May, and they are opening one in Jenings soon.

I would like an 8 so much that a 6 would make me pee in my pants!

HI everyone! I am self pay and i have read a thousand questions and answers here about being banded in MX, so i hate to ask again, but i just have to. lol. You are all so nice and helpful, i have been reading all your posts for a while now, although this is my first. I am considering Dr Kuri, but my husband says there is no way he is letting me go to Mexico to have surgery. Can anyone offer me any advice in this situation. I also am wondering about fills in the Lousiana area, if doctors will do them if you are banded in MX and how much they charge.
