We have a bunch of a fro-yo places here that you can add your own toppings. So if we go get ice cream we get that. I will usually just nibble on the kids fro-yo because a few bites is enough for my cravings.

Okay, I am about 20lbs from my weight goal but really may never get to that goal, as I am weight lifting and working out. Honestly my boobs are so depressing and Idk if I can hold out 8 more months till I hit a year.
Do you all suggest I start my search now for surgeon and see what they say?

My boobies are skin sacs, I did not expect them to look like this- I figured that it would be less volume but oof! Anywho! I would love to do all things; boob job, bbl, Tummy Tuck, thigh lift, arm lift but in reality I do not want to spend that much money but I want a boob job for sure. I would settle for just that. Do I need to wait the full year to get boobs done?

Right now I say "OMG I AM?! NO WONDER I HAD TO BUY NEW CLOTHES" Anywho how are you doing? Life okay?
I have been getting this a lot so I understand

Thank you guys! I am trying to focus on how I feel, getting used to the new body, new clothes but its all very foreign. With all of your guys input I think I am going to keep my goal at 170. Might change once I approach that. But for now that is the goal!

Thank you to you all for the wonderful feedback! I am very fresh into my journey and I honestly thought it would’ve taken me the entire 12-18months to get to the point to where I am at. I notice that 1000 calories is easy to attain some days and harder to get to the others. I do workout hard and burn on my lowest days 650calories and my highest 1000cal. Which would completely make my calories for the day really low or at zero. But I feel really good, I wake up alert and am able to do 5am workouts, I eat pretty well I think, I try not to drink my calories but man do I miss a full fat mocha 😂.
I am trying to deter from the mindset that I need to weigh a certain number and like you all said I need to ride the ride and focus on how I feel. I do want plastics so I know my body is going to change even more which honestly is TERRIFYING!
Going off on a tangent, I have so many emotions about about this process and it happened way father than I anticipated.
Again, thank you all for your feedback it helped!

My goal weight when I first started this journey was 190lbs, I wanted to under 30BMI and felt that this goal was obtainable, I changed it to 170 since that would put me in the "healthy range". However, I feel like I am getting too small? I am wearing a size 6/8 pants from a 18/20 (NEVER IN MY ADULT LIFE HAVE I BEEN ABLE TO WEAR THAT SIZE!) Medium shirt from a 2/3xl, skivvies are Medium from a 2x, I am working out and trying to focus on toning.
But Idk when I should enter Maintenance?
My WLS team is so non-existent, I had one post op appt at 2 weeks and haven't heard from them since.

Hi ladies!
Not sure what is going on but I am dry as a Sahara desert in my lady bits, and its to the point where my S/O doesn't think I am attracted to him. Which is not true at all. I never had this problem, is this just a side effect of losing weight rapidly? or maybe I am getting older (I am 35yrs old). It is getting frustrating.

YAY!!!!! you are going to LOVE the results and welcome to your new start at life!!!

17 hours ago, LindsayT said:I can't even ... I am literally half the woman I used to be...262lbs-131lbs in a year. My goal was 140, but I kept loosing despite the increase in calories. I know a bounce back is coming and appreciate the cushion. My body composition test showed I went from 50% body fat to 18% with no new loss of fat free body mass since month 3. When they showed the pounds of fat vs fat free mass, I only had 24lbs of fat, which is good because some fat is healthy.
I'm thrilled with the results. My first bikini in who knows how long (my daughter bought it for me for Mother's Day). I seriously do not recognize myself and I love being healthy.
*Don't mind my red face. I started micro needling.Look fantastic!!! I love that suit!! Where did she get it?

I use NetDiary (track every day!) and I love it! I wear my apple watch everyday and I stay in competition with myself to see if how many times a week I close all 3 rings on the fitness. At work I walk every single work day for 30ish min on my lunch break. I do go to the gym as well to weight lift and a little more cardio. Not every day but about 3-4times a week.
Take pictures! That is what encourages me, I have been documenting my journey and its amazing to look back at and see how far I have come. I weigh myself at least once a week, I am trying to stay away from the scale because I tend to beat myself up if I am up a lb in a day (WHICH CAN BE ANYTHING! late dinner, salt and not enough water) but I get flustered so I can't do that.
Most importantly, What is your "why?" Why did you choose WLS? What or who is/are motivation?

Today I graduated with my Bachelors Degree! I have worked my arse off with working full time and raising 3 kids along with my supportive boyfriend. It was a great Mother’s Day present to myself. I decided to do a side by side and I noticed that even my guy lost weight. Not only that I feel like this year is a year for me to take control of my life. This is just the beginning!

Hiya!
I think you and I are around the same post op. I had my surgery 1/24, the macros and calories are all over the place. The main thing is to get at least 80g of Protein, and 64oz of water/liquids.
My plan says 60-80g of Protein, Less than 130g of Carbs, Max 40g of Fat. 3-6months is about 800 cal/day,
I have not followed that to a T. I have been at about 1000 calories a day, My carbs I keep less than 50g, Fat is usually under 20g. I work out 5days a week. If your losing then I am sure your going great!

I made a post about losing weight slowly and I just kept doing what I was doing, and dropped 5lbs this week…WEIRD! But I am officially considered overweight and not obese!! Below is a before and after picture. The before is not even my heaviest!

24 minutes ago, ms.sss said:if i'm not mistaken, you are already at 30 BMI? Out of curiosity, who is enforcing a qualification weight for plastics? is this because you are looking to get it covered by insurance? (because if you are self pay, you can get plastics at any weight you want...)
Though truth be told, when i was at 30 BMI (around 3.5 months p.o.), i could still totally see places where i could stand to lose some more fat. I don't think i was being overly critical either, i think it was just the truth.
Am attaching a link to a collage i often share on here which is my progress in pictures the first 3 years (i'm 5.5 yrs now).
I was at 30.4 BMI in the last picture on the first/top row.
The very last pic at the bottom i was BMI 21.2.
This morning i clocked in on BMI 21.6.
one day i'll make an updated collage with more recent pics, but i'm pretty lazy, lol.
I am not sure if it has to do with where I am located (CA) but the surgeons that I have looked up want 30BMi or lower, there are only a select few that will operate on plus size people. I am also 5'9, so I am stretched out, I mean there is defintely places I could! LOL I am not a rail or where I want to be. I wish I had your thighs! Mine are so saggy! lol you look AMAZING
Must we wait the entire year for plastics?

I have been looking online and there are 3 so far that their work looks really good, one of them actually specialize in surgery for bariatric patients. So maybe I start at least visiting them and see if they also tell me I need to lose 20more pounds.
