I have no pain but I’m tired of the liquid diet! How about you?

I accidentally discovered this today and it’s made my day. I noticed that I could have cream based broth so I strained a can of progresso creamy chicken and noodle soup and ate the broth. My husband had the chunky part on toast. It’s a game changer after so much sweet liquid stuff.

I went in on Monday for a bypass but had too much scar tissue so got vsg instead. I’m busy trying to figure out the differences because I had only researched bypass.

I’m home from the hospital! I planned on having my rny bypass but they couldn’t do it because of a lot of scar tissue from my c-section. I had a vsg instead. I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat, but staying awake to get some water in me. No pain to speak of.

It’s scary for sure, but I’m focused on how I will look and feel afterwards and that’s better than pizza.

2 days of pre-op liquids and it’s going well. My one complaint is that all the liquids are sweet except for broth. How’s everyone doing?
