  1. it’s actually so interesting to read about everyone’s different experiences and what different surgeons require before/after surgery. @FifiLux im july 3rd! we’re practically going through it together ? also i never heard about having to shave?! did anyone else have to do that?? i was just given pre surgery ensure to drink and surgical soap to wash the abdomen night before and morning of surgery
  2. i’m allowed to eat one meal so that may be why it’s not so bad ? but we all got this !!
  3. Day 4 of my liquid diet is going a lot better than i thought it would. i don’t feel hungry like i thought i would. maybe bc work keeps me distracted and i barely get a break to notice i’m hungry lol. good luck to everyone starting theirs soon !
  4. awesome less than a month away! i think the closer i get to my date the more exciting it is for me to get rid of anything that’s even remotely loose or loose fitting. i just threw it all in a bag to donate without looking back and anything new with tags i’m going to try and sell and use that money to buy new stuff.
  5. i’m on a 2 week pre op liquid diet which is 3 protein shakes a day and one small meal of 1 protein and 1 veggie for lunch or dinner
  6. i feel the exact same way so many emotions at once
  7. New to posting (my first post actually) but i’ve been following everyones journeys and i’m so excited to finally start my own! My original date was June 26 then changed to July 3rd ? @LibrarianErin congrats to you on the start of your journey thanks for starting this post ? we’re all in this together I’ve been very stressed through all the hiccups i’ve had during the process especially the insurance process since mine was delayed for no reason but now that i have my approval and surgery date i feel a lot more calm and ready ! My process started in March when i met with my surgeon and dietician and it flew by. had my pre op appointment a week ago and my pre testing is monday ? I’m so excited to gain energy and confidence in myself. i’ve tried every diet possible and it’s always been a struggle in my life and only got worse as i got older with my PCOS. i am keeping who i tell in a small bubble. my parents, siblings and best friend (who got the surgery about 18 months ago ) for now. i want to keep away as much negative energy as i can with everyone being a critic i just don’t want to hear it lol. once it’s done im sure i’ll change my mind. what’s everyone doing about their job? what did you tell them, what did you say? how much time off do you get?
