  1. My surgery is in two weeks and I haven't gotten a satisfactory answer from my surgeon on dealing with the lapband with my sensitive gag reflex (sorry to be gross). About once or twice a month I throw up just from brushing my teeth -- and NOT vigorously either. Doc said "Just be careful," but I already am. What I don't understand is what happens if your stomach below the band wants to vomit? What happens when people get the flu, for example?
  2. I'm on my 2nd day of 2 weeks liquid/steamed veg pre-op diet and am wondering whether I'm going to be able to work fine during it, and then in the 10 days or so afterward when I'm still on liquids. For example, am I going to feel dizzy going out for a walk after a while on this?
