Hey, I'm glad your doing good. I'm doing good to I had surgery 12/22 and I have lost 44 pounds so far I am so happy I did this it has helped me so much. I go to Mass often my husband is from Mass so we visit alot. I hope you get your date soon keep intouch.

Hi thanks for the picure comment. I have the realize band and I've lost 70 pounds in 7 months no pre op diet. It's alot of work but it's worth it.

Hi, Happy New Year! I'm doing pretty good I hit my 1 year mark on 12/22 I lost 81 pounds. I thank god for that and I'm truly blessed. How are u doing?

Hi, my doctor told me that there really isn't a difference in the bands besides realize having a website with computer support. She switched to realize because they are easier to put in she said but both are good bands. My best friend has lapband she said I healed quicker than she did but we are both doing good. I can help you the best I can. Are you trying to deside which band to get?

Hi! I haven't got my surgery yet I'm getting it 12/22 so I really can't answer any of your questions yet. I have a friend that got the band in may and she looks great she doesn't have skin hanging. I think anyone will have some scars from the incisions but I think they will get smaller as you lose weight. I think the whole process is so worth it.

Hi! I'm doing pretty good healing well my stomach is itching really bad but I'm doing good. I can't wait till monday to start mushies I am starting to feel hungry. But other wise doing good healing was a lot better than I though it would be.

I did when it got close to my surgery time because I didn't have to do a liquid diet before surgery. So I tried to eat the foods I knew I wouldn't be able to eat after surgery. But it's really not as bad as I thought it would be I don't even crave or miss most of the foods I use to eat. Your taste bud change things become to sweet or salty.

I hear that Congrats!!! I've lost 75 and I'm so happy I post pictures all the time.

I hear that I had been at a stand still creeping 1 pound up then loose 2. I had to move so all week I had been packing and moving things then saturday was the big day to move the rest of the stuff so it was hectic for me and when I got on the scale this morning I lost 7 lbs I finally made it to 63 lbs total so far I'm so happy this is truly a blessing because I struggled with weight my whole life. I never was ashamed of how I looked but I was always worried about my health so I thank god for this band. One another note it's wonderful to go into Lane Bryant and can't fit anything but the bras and panties that's a wonderful feeling. Have a blessed day now that I talked your ear off.

I hear u I feel this is the best thing I could of done for myself too. There are times I stay at a stand still or my gain a pound or two but I wouldn't change it for anything I wish u the best keep intouch it's great to talk to people going through the same thing it makes me feel like I'm not alone.

I hear u on that I brought some capris and the weather was crappy so I didn't get to wear them and when I finally put them on yesterday they were real baggy. It is costly but I learned to deal with it I don't shop alot because u never know what size u will wear. But I love the way I feel.

I hear you my weight has pretty much stayed the same but I get scared sometimes because I feel like I don't get full or I'm always hungry I think it's in my mind. Thank god I only have a little over a week. My best friend got banded in May so I see the difference in the amount of food you can eat. My doctor also let me go in the room with her to get a fill so I've seen that process too. I think she is a fill junkie too she has lost 80 pounds so far. So I also have a partner to help me through this process.

I know the feeling I had it bad this week I got a fill on monday and had to have everything taken out on thursday because of sliming and vomiting. I lost 6 pounds in 3 day it was terrible. So I go back on monday to have some fluid put back in my band.
