I am in a very small town in Alaska and in the final stages of test to clear me for surgery in Anchorage. I am a bit apprehensive yet excieted. I'm just not sure if I will feel the band or portal or not. I would love to have a buddy to ask questions to and be a support to me. My husband is suportive but he works in a man camp 3 weeks of the month and is not even home. We talk on the phone each night but it is not the same as having him home with the kids and I. If interested to support someone for alaska and learn more about our frozen tundra please reply. OH right now it is a -38 degrees F. Ouch. Susan

My sister in law had hers done in Colorado and has a doc in anchorage. I will get the info for you tomorrow and post the doc's info for you. She said he fills on each day of the week except Fridays and costs about $250 a fill. I am not sure about insurance. I will let you know.
