  9. Synlee we haven’t heard from you lately, praying all is well and you’re doing much better. My surgery band to RNY was Monday 5/15 gained weight from 205 up to 212.5 due to fluids. Released from Hospital 5/17 at 212.5. Gassy, very loose stool, pee constantly, other than that doing good with minimal pain controlled by Tylenol extra strength melts. Plan for today put on belly band (helps with swelling and pain), then loose sweats and hide my drains in the legs & take a walk to the end of the block a few times throughout the day. Wish me luck Thanks

  21. I just read “if someone says something cruel or prying” you should respond with “are you ok” in a concerned manner. If they push respond with “it just isn’t like you to be so_____.” Fill in the blank. Suggestions= rude, catty, mean, insensitive, prying, whatever fits the situation
  22. LindsayT Great job and I know what you mean about the mind tricking you into wanting to eat. During the next few days they want me to drink 1oz of liquid every 15 minutes. This is to prepare for after surgery. I find this very difficult! Seems I am sipping from a 1oz med cup constantly. Anyone else have problems with this? Surgery next Monday 5/15
  23. My problem is age. I am 71 and usual cutoff age is 70. I was approved for WLS RNY due to complications from band surgery. I am not looking forward to sagging skin & boobs. Yea they sag a bit now and I hate it. So I have WLS on 5/15, figure 8-12 months to look into plastics. Instead of a mommy makeover it will be a granny makeover. Hahaha
  24. CarolineLittle, I truly admire you. Thank you for doing this post
