  1. All is well. Very attentive. Everyone works as a team. The Dr has came to see me a few times. I have no complaints at all.
  2. I tried tagging my surgeon Dr Pablo Fok Russell. He's not in the list. Im currently waiting to be wheeled to surgery. I'm so far extremely impressed. I lost a lot more weight then expected on my pre-op diet. I was allowed salad with a protein choice, 13 almonds and protein shakes. Everyone is very friendly. I had an EKG, bloodwork & xray done as soon as I arrived. The bloodwork was back in an hour! I met everyone. I like everyone. Two women on my flight rode with me here. They are getting some sort of plastic surgery. One already had a facelift already. Looked good too! I liked riding with people who were familiar. The driver was really informative. Now I'm waiting to be wheeled back!
  3. I have surgery tomorrow. I have a cold. Congestion and cough. Testing negative for COVID. I emailed them but I have not heard back. I'm resting, drinking fluids, steaming my sinuses. I don't have a fever. Bad cold
  4. That is also my thoughts. I have traveled to Mexico before but for vacation and never had a negative experience.
  5. I have ate primarily vegan for three years. I do eat fish/shellfish sometimes. I don't eat dairy or any other animal products except fish/shellfish. I am on the pre-op diet of salad, protein and I alternate with protein shakes. It is boring and I am hungry I am concerned about the liquid diet after and puree and soft food phase. I am concerned about getting nutrition. Iron, protein.. I bought a multivitamin. Any vegan food ideas for those phases.
  6. I feel more comfortable. My family is nervous. I am ok.
  7. My son told me about it. My family is very upset. I had to look it up.
  8. I am going to Dr Pablo Fok Russell March 13th.
  9. I am flying into San Diego and the facility is in Tijuana.
  10. It was someone who drove to Mexico for a tummy tuck. There was a group of them, they were kidnapped and some murdered.
  11. Mine is: March 13th, AT: Medical Mex Preformed by: Dr Pablo Fok Russel
  12. My sleeve is scheduled for Monday the 13th. And after the recent kidnapping and murder my family is freaking out. I am getting my sleeve done by Medical Mex, Dr. Pablo Fok Russell. I am sure it is the same set up as others, they pick me up from the airport, take me across the border to the hospital, surgery, recovery, then back to the airport. I am going without a companion. And I wanted to go alone. My family is freaking out and I am a little anxious but not as bad as they are. Anyone recently go? Or have the same concerns?
