That is so awesome. I hope it comes soon for you. I think well I am in hopes that I will lose at least 30 pounds on the pre-op diet. I don't know how hard that will be but I am sure it is going to be hard. I am going to record everything. Keep going you are almost there!!

I am looking forward to the support groups. I hear they are very helpful for whoa's and fears. They said in the seminar that the number one downfall is not getting the support you need to prepare for the life style of the band. Hopefully I will meet up with you sometime. My husband is very supportive in this and I am dragging him every step of the way even to the groups. lol.

Thanks, I called today and got my appointment. It is for October 2nd. They told me the same. I pay the $2000.00 minus deductibles at the end before surgery. That is good for me due to giving me time to save. How are you doing on your diet? Are things going well for you?

Kdlee, I am getting so frustrated. Why do they take so long to contact you to get things started. I was pre-approved and had to pay my fee which I did and still waiting to hear from them. Did it take them a while with you as well?

I also forgot to tell you something hilarious that happen to me. I got choked right in the middle of the seminar. Dr. kaplan was standing right in front of me and I have allergies and got a dry couph. He just keep getting closer and closer and staring strait at me why I was choking to death. Tears were rolling down my face. I was so imbarrassed. Great first impression!!! I bet he won't forget me. lol

How was your first fill. Did it hurt? I went to my seminar today. I met Jeannie. She is so nice. Dr. Kaplan did the intial talking. I thought that was good too. I liked hearing his view on things. A lady came to visit at our seminar and looked fantastic.. she said she loves being banded. Now I just have to wait until they call me for my meeting with Jeannie. She said it takes about two weeks. I am so excited to get started.
