  1. Just stepping into this forum ... I'm scheduled for the LSG on March 11. Frightened about complications but very very excited. I've battled my weight my entire life -- the fat small kid. But it was made so much worse by dangerously high doses of prednisone and decadron to treat my asthma. (Even as a kid I thought it wasn't professional that the family doctor would come to my house, give me the drugs and then give me a huge shot of adrenalin in the morning -- but never took me to the hospital ...) Anyhow I'm 57 with a 42 BMI and I so want to get back to something below 30 -- and stay there! Any tips, preop advice? I'd be really grateful! Thanks!
