There are so many non-scale victories I have be blessed to experience so far 😊
    Some of them include:
    1. No longer having sleep apnea (so long C-PAP Machine!!)
    2. Being able to purchase clothing from the mall or another regular retail chain store again.
    3. Not feeling tired by mid-day; more energy.
    4. Symptoms of depression and anxiety have drastically decreased.
    5. Being able to keep up with my son when we do activities outdoors!

Hello, I also used to use MyFitnessPal but since surgery moved to Baritastic and it has been working well, since I concentrate on the Protein and liquid the most. It will take some getting used to once I start tracking other things when in Maintenace, but I love the weight logging feature.

Well, you could revise to a duodenal switch or loop duodenal switch surgery. The biggest problem, of course, would be finding a surgeon who would do it in the first place, and also one who would be comfortable doing a RNY revision to DS or Loop DS. The DS is the most aggressive surgery and one of the biggest downsides is having to take more Vitamins. Also, if you wait too long in between eating... your bowels will decide to empty everything in them after taking about two to three bites of food and you'll be in and out of the bathroom for an hour or more, so if you do decide to do the surgery keep something like a granola bar or something next to your bed. I had the Loop DS 3 years ago and am incredibly happy with my surgery choice.

This is what it looks like when you're using food as a coping mechanism for stress and anxiety and don't give a damn:

After the shot I noticed that the amount of jalapeños wouldn't do it and added some more.
    ETA: vegan for hEaLtH. Not.

that medication you started the side affect listed on it is possible weight gain. But lets start there at your food habits... Are you still eating healthy? making sure to limit carbs and sugars? or are you just eating whatever? I am only 9 months out and i dont feel the restriction i did 5 months ago. I can eat much larger portions than before. The goal tho is to limit those portions regardless. The goal is not to eat until you cant anymore. Its to eat until you are satisfied. not full but good. Not sure what else you can do with surgery. you already had the sleeve and then bypass which is what most people go to when they gain too much weight after sleeve or have GERD issues.

I'm still relatively new to post op, but in 2022 I only had my period at the beginning of the year, after March no period whatsoever. I started spotting a few days before surgery, probably due to the idea of the surgery itself, and 30 days after surgery I had my first period, 14 days later, had my period again. Not sure when I will have another period but I'm glad I actually had one after 9 months without one.

I just had a revision from a slipped Lapband to gastric bypass Rny. I also had a hernia the size of an orange. My doctor told me that I will not feel restriction at all. I just started my puréed stage and I’m definitely not feeling anything. I’m just measuring my portions and sticking to that. Then after 30 mins of eating I will start my liquids again. It seems to be helping. At least we do get some malabsorption with the small intestines redirected.

    Hi Lindsay,
I have PCOS and a Pituitary Adenoma, so I have experienced my fair share of crazy hormones!
Prior to WLS, I would go sometimes 4-6 months without a period. Now I get one about every 35-50 days or so. Not normal by any means, but MUCH better than before. I have experienced more issues with some acne around my chin at times ( a pimple here or there, nothing major). The one drawback however, is I have noticed the hair on my head has decreased, while the hair everywhere else (my entire body) has increased in thickness.

To be frank, eating less than before surgery is not saying a whole lot. I could eat 1/4 of what I ate pre-op and still be eating 4 times what my current portions are.
Unplanned Snacks are deadly. If your plan includes snacks then they need to be planned and tracked like everything else. My plan never included snacks.
Eating our appropriate portion size is THE key element post-op. Even in maintenance Portion Control is important to maintain and not gain.
    You have the motivation.
    Good luck,
    Tek
