  2. Protein fills you up and lasts longer. I can't eat bread toasted or otherwise . Take it slow eat small bites and pause between each bite. When you feel the restriction stop eating don't force it. Good luck I have had my band for a while now n am at 5 ccs in a 10 cc band. Feel good n losing again after a long stint of gaining . Good luck to you! I Am down 70 since the beginning n want to lose 75 more n keep it off!
  3. Thanks for the info I hope you are all better real soon. I had some issues and had the band unfilled a little and had an upper GI but all is well maybe too tight I am going back today to have a refill and to be put it 7 cc's instead of 7 1/2 cc's Take care and keep me updated on your progress Happy Holidays!!!!!
  4. Do not skip any stages....follow the docs order and you will do well!!!! Good Luck!
  5. If you have an issue you have it removed the studies show that your tummy goes back to how it was before surgery. Good luck with your decision!
  6. 1 year in August 2009 and love it 91 lbs gone forever!!!! It's a great tool!!!
  7. I am at 6 1/2 cc's in my 10cc band they filled me too much and had pain when I drank water and protein shakes and had to have 1/2 taken out. my question is.. do you all have really loud digestion noises? I do gurlgling and such. I can't eat soup but can eat fish and other proteins. I don't want to have them loosen it but need suggestions on food. Any ideas?? Banded August 2008 lost 84 lbs so far trying to work with a tighter band to move this along...
  8. I was banded last August. I pb a couple times but it quickly passed. i threw up 4 times but that was because of soft bread and too much after a tight fill. it was quick and when i did i felt sooo much better. i try to eat slow but it iss hard to break that habit. lost 84 lbs and feel great. very happy with my decision..
  9. I just had a fill Tuesday and was told that slower the fills the better. It gives you time to adjust. this was my 3rd fill I was banded back in August. lost 84 lbs so far. good luck and be patient your Sweet spot will happen soon.
  10. I would hope that everyone would get their hard earned $ back as the seminar was cancelled not just because the person couldn't go...... The right thing to do is to return the money...... I am commenting because I got the thread to this and feel that Cher should make sure everyone gets their money back.... Good luck!
  11. Now that it has been some time since my surgery... I told everyone and their brother what I did....I now just say, when asked if I have lost weight.... Yes I did and it is a daily struggle to continue...... that is all they need to know at this point. To some closer friends I say medical intervention is a great thing!!! and they just laugh as I do too.
  12. Anxious is what you will certainly feel.... read up on this drug regarding long term usage.... and I wish you the best of luck and take care! angcal26
